J. Paul Janes Memorial Scholarship Fund
The J. Paul Janes Memorial Scholarship Fund awards a scholarship in memory of J. Paul Janes to a graduating senior from Mt. Pleasant High School or Sacred Heart Academy who intends to pursue a pre-law college curriculum with plans to attend law school.
Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicant shall be a graduating senior from Mt. Pleasant High School or Sacred Heart Academy and be accepted to a college or university.
- Demonstrate satisfactory academic achievement (minimum 3.5 GPA) and community involvement.
- Applicant shall intend to pursue a pre-law college curriculum with plans to attend law school.
- Financial need shall be a factor in the selection process. (Please devote a portion of your essay to stating your case for financial need.)
2012 Scholarship Award: $750
