In 2005, a Listening Ear Consumer Needs and Dreams Fund was created to help Listening Ear consumers meet their personal needs or achieve their goals and dreams for the future. The fund may support people with disabilities starting their own micro-enterprise business, assist a young adult affected by homelessness in getting their own apartment, or help with medical or educational expenses. Decisions on grants from this fund are made by a panel of current Listening Ear consumers. For more information, visit Listening Ear's website.
