The Central Michigan Chapter of the American Red Cross Fund was established for the purpose of providing support to the Local Chapter of the American Red Cross to carry out its role and mission as determined by the Local Chapter’s Board of Directors.
The Chapter is a private non-profit, tax exempt, 501(C) 3 organization that receives no government funding. The Chapter relies on donations from the community to sustain its programs, services and operational funding. It provides a blood donation program, food pantry, infant pantry, disaster relief that primarily assists with those affected by home fires, youth safety education through the local schools, emergency messaging between the military and their loved ones at home and tracing and international services. The Chapter also offers courses to train individuals in First Aid, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
Contributions to the Fund will never be spent. They will be invested and the return on the investments will be used by the Central Michigan Chapter to forever provide services to the residents of Central Michigan.
