The Firstbank Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to graduating seniors from the Shepherd, Mt. Pleasant and Clare communities who have exhibited outstanding service to their communities and are pursuing higher education or training.

The Firstbank Scholarship Fund was created to recognize area youth for their commitment to volunteerism and community involvement. Firstbank wanted to motivate and reward high school seniors who had excelled in serving their communities by awarding scholarships that would aid in the continuation of their education.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Be a graduating senior from a Mt. Pleasant area, Beal City, Shepherd or Clare High School.
• Be accepted to a university, college or school of higher education, including industrial, technical or vocational school.
• Exhibit outstanding community service.
• Have maintained a 2.0 minimum grade point.
