The L.A. and Marilyn Johns Family Fund is an unrestricted fund that was established with the Mt. Pleasant Area Community Foundation in 1999, and is one of the first funds of the Foundation. L.A. and Marilyn hope that their fund will encourage others to participate in the community in this way.

The Johns enjoy the fact that this fund serves as a permanent record of their family in the Mt. Pleasant community. They believe in helping others less fortunate than themselves, and feel particularly passionate about Central Michigan Community Hospital. The Johns know that their fund will continue to grow and benefit the community for decades to come.
