The Kimber and Judy DeWitt Family Fund is an unrestricted fund that was created to give back to the community which has provided the DeWitt family with so much.

Kimber attended Central Michigan University and got involved with the community right away, working at Central Michigan Community Hospital and being involved with the First Presbyterian Church.  After completing dental school Kimber came back to Mt. Pleasant to start his orthodontic practice and raise a family.

Judy also thought Mt. Pleasant would be a nice place to settle down. After moving away for eight years Judy came back to the community she grew up in to work as an accountant with a local firm. Judy is now teaching accounting at CMU.  Together the Dewitt’s raised four children in the Mt. Pleasant community.

“It has been a very positive experience raising a family in Mt. Pleasant, we couldn’t have asked for a better place,” said Kimber.

Kimber’s orthodontic practice has also prospered in its 23 years in Mt. Pleasant. Kimber credits his business success to the wonderful people that live in the Mt. Pleasant community and surrounding areas.
