Mt. Pleasant Area Community Foundation Scholarships
Welcome to the MPACF Scholarship Center! The Mt. Pleasant Area Community Foundation manages more than 60 permanently endowed scholarship funds which provide opportunities for a growing number of young people (and some not so young) in our community. Scholarships have been established by local individuals, businesses, and organizations wanting to help students achieve their educational goals. Some funds award multiple scholarships, but not all funds award scholarships every year.
Online Scholarship Application System:
All scholarship applications must be completed using an online system, and must be submitted no later than Friday, March 4, 2016 at 4:00 pm. Students will not need to make multiple copies of application materials, and school administrators will be able to submit transcripts electronically. However, the online application system will require students to answer more questions in order to determine their eligibility for each scholarship offered. We highly recommend every applicant review the Frequently Asked Questions and Complete List of Scholarships available this year before proceeding to the Scholarship Application System.

Code of Ethics Policy:
Mt. Pleasant Area Community Foundation trustees, committee members, and staff will avoid situations in which personal interests might be served or financial benefits gained. It is incumbent upon any trustee, committee member or staff member to disclose himself/herself immediately whenever the appearance of conflict of interest exists. Find more policy information here.
Immediate family members of trustees, committee members, and staff may apply for scholarships as long as those affiliated with the Community Foundation abstain from serving on the selection committee or voting to approve a scholarship for which an immediate family member has been selected. Scholarship Committee Members must disclose any potential conflicts of interest prior to serving on a review panel. Scholarship Committee Members may not serve on a panel that reviews the application of an immediate family member.
