 Special Initiatives

The following initiatives and funds were created to have a positive impact on a specific area of our community. Each has a committee of dedicated volunteers that are committed to improving the lives of Isabella County residents.

Access to Recreation

The creation of a universally accessible Access Adventure Trail through Chipp-A-Waters Park is the centerpiece of an initiative to expand and enhance recreation opportunities for all citizens of all abilities in Isabella County.
Women's Initiatives

Women's Initiative

The Women's Initiative Fund was created by area women to help provide for the needs of women and girls in Isabella County. Grants are given annually to organizations whose programs and services address these needs.

Youth Advisory Committee

(YAC)

 The YAC, whose membership includes students from all schools in Isabella County, serves as a pivotal agent in the empowerment of youth and in the development of young leaders. The YAC advises the Foundation's Board on the awarding of grants from the Kellogg Youth Fund that will have an important impact on the youth of our county.
