To recognize McArthur Insurance Agency’s centennial in 2017, the McArthur Insurance Agency Fund for Weidman was established. This field of interest fund will provide funding for future community improvement projects in the Weidman area.

McArthur Insurance Agency has been part of the Weidman community since 1917, when it was founded by Leon McArthur. The agency stayed in Leon's family for the next two generations. It was owned by his daughter and son-in-law, and then his granddaughter, who sold the business in 2005. At that time, Kurt Feight, Terry Kunst, and Nicole Mathews purchased the agency. Over the past century, McArthur Insurance Agency has helped support numerous causes and projects and hopes to see that legacy continue for future generations.
