Census 2020: Michigan Nonprofits Count Campaign
The Michigan Nonprofits Count Campaign is a collaborative, coordinated, statewide effort to encourage participation in the 2020 census in communities that are at significant risk of being undercounted. Led by the Michigan Nonprofit Association (MNA), in partnership with the Council of Michigan Foundations (CMF), the campaign will mobilize nonprofits to encourage participation in the 2020 census.
Great Lakes Bay Regional Census Hub:
The Great Lakes Bay Regional Census Hub was established to ensure an accurate count in Bay, Isabella, Midland, and Saginaw counties. The community foundations in these four counties have partnered together on the project. The Great Lakes Bay Regional Alliance, located in Freeland, houses the census hub. The work of the census hub is supported by the Michigan Nonprofits Count Campaign.
Michigan Nonprofit Counts Campaign Grants:
Grants are available for Isabella County nonprofits to help ensure an accurate count in our county.
If you believe your organization qualifies for grant funding, please contact Executive Director Amanda Schafer with questions about the application.
