Charitable IRA Rollover

On January 1, 2013, Congress passed the American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012, which allows community members age 70½ and older to make direct gifts up to $100,000 per year from traditional IRAs to qualified charities in 2013. The IRA Rollover provides an excellent opportunity to make a gift during your lifetime from an asset that would otherwise be subject to multiple levels of taxation.
