Mt. Pleasant Area Community Foundation

For good. For ever.

Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for all citizens of Isabella County, now and for generations to come, by holding and attracting permanent endowed funds from a wide range of donors, addressing needs through grant making and providing leadership on key community issues.

Give to an Existing Fund

There are many types of funds at the Community Foundation, each specifically tailored to meet the many needs of our community and provide donors with the level of involvement and type of giving they prefer.

Community Impact Funds

Community impact funds not only enable the Community Foundation to address the changing needs of Isabella County, but also to facilitate innovative responses to community problems and enhance the quality of life for all residents.

Field-of-Interest Funds

Field-of-interest funds enable donors to focus their giving on the issues and causes they care about most.

Organization Funds

Organization funds support specific charitable organizations, educational institutions, or units of government that provide services or programs to Isabella County residents. Organization funds are further divided into two sub-types for accounting purposes: agency funds include assets gifted to the Community Foundation by the benefiting organization itself, and designated funds include assets gifted to the Community Foundation by individuals (third parties).

Scholarship Funds

Scholarship funds support undergraduate and graduate education, professional development and other educational enrichment opportunities.

Donor Advised Funds

Donor advised funds are established to make grants according to the charitable interests of their founders.
