John and Jean Mitchell Family Fund

The John and Jean Mitchell Family Fund was created to support the Chippewa Watershed Conservancy in their efforts to protect and reintroduce wildlife, acquire and preserve open space, and restore habitat.

The mission of Chippewa Watershed Conservancy, or CWC, is to protect and restore the Central Michigan’s land, water, and wildlife resources to improve the quality of life for all. According to John, “A Family Fund at the MPACF, established for the benefit of the Chippewa Watershed Conservancy, is the perfect marriage; the professional money management of the MPACF with the professional wildlife habitat protection of the CWC. Both organizations are focused on forever. It doesn’t get any better than this.”
