5th Annual Kay’s Way A Resounding Success For Local Families
We are so moved by the generosity we saw during the 5th annual Kay’s Way Supply Drive in honor of Kay Krapohl Smith. Led by the MPACF Women’s Initiative, the drive kicked off in early May with donation sites at Krapohl Ford and Weichert Realtors BROADWAY REALTY in Mt. Pleasant.
Hundreds of items were donated to benefit youth served by the Isabella Child Development Center, which has delivered free preschool since 1969, and the Foster Closet of Isabella County, which supports youth and teens in foster care.
In addition, Krapohl Ford donated 100% of the proceeds of their Kay’s Way Oil Change Day totaling nearly $4,500!
“Kay’s Way lifts up local women and girls,” Women’s Initiative Committee Co-Chair Leah Rau said. “This incredible event rallies residents across Isabella County to help others, and the resulting generosity and compassion are tremendous.”
Committee members from Women’s Initiative collected and sorted the donations and then distributed them to the very happy staff at Isabella Childcare Center and Foster Closet, along with checks to support any additional needs they may have.
Thank you to Krapohl Ford, Weichert Realty, the Women’s Initiative Committee and to YOU for your generous donations and incredible support of the Kay’s Way Drive. We know Kay is very pleased that her impact continues through your generousity!!
