What is Give Local Isabella?
● An annual 24-hour online fundraising marathon held on May 5th on www.givelocalisabella.org.
● Focuses on supporting local non-profit organizations and causes, encouraging philanthropy, and fostering community engagement.
● Helps charities achieve long-term financial stability.
What is philanthropy? Philanthropy aims for long-term, strategic solutions to address the root causes of societal problems. Involves:
· Bringing people together
· Elevating community needs
· Championing community-centered problem solving
· Leveraging resources
· Serving as a thought partner
· Constantly learning

What to expect on May 5th:
● Prizes: $5,500 total in prizes (multiple $500 prizes and some in-kind prizes). Winners will be announced on our Facebook page.
● Matching funds: $65,000 in matching donations to our nonprofit organizations and initiatives to boost impact! Thank you to our matching fund sponsors: Mt. Pleasant Abstract & Title, MPACF Harkins Family Fund, Anonymous Donor, and the W.E. Martin Fund.
Give Local Isabella builds endowment funds
● These funds provide financial sustainability and ensure that these organizations can serve for many years.
● Endowment: An endowment is a forever fund. We invest donations and use a portion of the earnings each year to support the community, while keeping the original gifts growing for future generations.
