With more than 85 endowed scholarships, the Mt. Pleasant Area Community Foundation helps students in Isabella County and beyond achieve their educational dreams. Whether you’re applying for your first award or coming back to school, we’re here to help.

Once you’ve reviewed your eligibility, we encourage you to apply! The application cycle for 2026 is underway and the application is live. All scholarship applications must be completed using our online portal, and must be submitted no later than Saturday, February 28, 2026 by 11:59 pm. Students will not need to make multiple copies of application materials, and school administrators will be able to submit transcripts electronically. However, the online scholarship portal will require students to answer more questions in order to determine their eligibility for each scholarship offered. We highly recommend every applicant review the Frequently Asked Questions before proceeding to the Scholarship Portal.

The Mt. Pleasant Area Community Foundation awarded over $199,850 in scholarships to 120 students last year thanks to the generosity of donors like you. Scholarships change lives by reducing financial barriers, increasing retention and helping students give back to our community.
Ways to Give – Establish a named scholarship fund, contribute to an existing fund, or make a one‑time or recurring gift. We’ll work with you to ensure your donation supports the causes you care about.
Recognition – We honor scholarship donors through invitations to our annual Scholarship Celebration, as well as featuring their name at the event and in our annual report.
